Al Dostor
Al Dostor — Cairo daily with a famously combative history, now one of Egypt's busier news sites. Politics, economy and society in Arabic.
Part of All Egyptian newspapersAl Dostor (الدستور, "The Constitution") is a Cairo-based Arabic daily first launched in 1995 and long associated with combative, opposition-minded journalism — most famously under editor Ibrahim Eissa, whose clashes with the authorities repeatedly landed the paper in court and off the newsstands. It later returned as a daily and today runs one of Egypt's busier news websites.
Coverage leans hard on domestic politics, parliament and the economy, rounded out with crime, sport and culture pages and a steady stream of breaking-news updates.
