Daily Trust is the flagship daily of Media Trust Limited, published in Abuja since the early 2000s and unrivalled as the newspaper of record for Northern Nigeria — one of the few major dailies rooted outside the Lagos press establishment, yet read nationwide.

It is strongest on national politics, security reporting from the North, and business, and its newsroom has won international recognition for investigative work; sister titles include Weekend Trust and the Hausa-language Aminiya.
